Hey all,

I will be going to Dolton Crossing tomorrow for some photography and believe it or not I've never been there before even though I've been to most South Side crossings. Maybe someone who has been there can help me. Where is the best place to park? The city hall parking lot? And where is the best place to view the action without overtly trespassing? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Yes I have been there. There is parking near the crossing in buisness parking lots which when I was there I was not told to depart. Across the street is a library also with a parking lot facing the tracks. There is a Mickie Ds about 1 mile away

There is also a major east west road about 1/4 mile south of Dolton, if you want a good shot from the sun side of the crossing.  You will need a pretty good zoom lens tho.

Hope there is sun tomorrow...i am tired of these storms/rains.
