NS between Macon and Madison, GA

I know the Great Walton Railroad operates a line from Covington (where it interchanges with CSX) to Machen, GA (where it interchanges with NS). Many locals know the Machen area better as "Shady Dale", if that helps. I've seen cars parked on the NS line in Machen, but I don't know if they ever run trains all the way to Madison. Does anybody have any information about the industries or how often NS operates anything on this line?
Most of the northern part of the line is forest and agricultural. I know there used to be an extension that ran from Madison to Athens and Watkinsville which is now primarily grown over, but I'm mainly concerned with railfanning the line south of Madison.
Thanks for any help that ya'll can provide!

We have one train that goes from Macon to Minnetia ( the georga pacific plant on Hwy 83 near Monecello and another that goes from Minneta to Madison 6 times a week. Look around godfreys feed mill in Madason at about 6-9 am headed south. North bound is in the middle of the night.
