Actually, as far as I know, the money WILL be coming, come hell or high water. In addition to removing the St. Charles Air Line, there will be numerous grade separation projects (most notably at 127th and Cicero, and 115th and Cicero on the CSX/IHB mainline, HUGE traffic jams due to heavy road and train traffic). This is among numerous other projects. I do believe that Metra is still working on expanding the SWS to Manhattan, and now they want to expand the Northwest Line all the way out to Rockford. I sure do miss Chicago railfanning. <br /> <br />Matt
