Does CSX run through Salem, IL? Anyone know? Just wondering
On the B&O? No. Service was pulled back to Olney.
My understanding is the service has been stopped between Noble, IL and Caseyville, IL. Track has been severed at those points to prevent operation. To date, to my knowledge, there has been no legal paperwork started to abandon the trackage.
