Thanks nanaimo. for what its worth the steam engine that powered the air compresser at the ex np shops in Livingston Mt. is located at the Barnes family farm and is fired up and ran every summer during a steam show.Its quite an awesome sight what with, Ibelieve,20 foot flywheels.They use it to build up air to start a 10 foot high 1 cylinder Fairbanks diesel engine that used to run a water pumping station on the GNRY.
