Flashin Lights, Lowerin Gates; Indiana Derailment

There has been a derailment in NW Indiana today. Not sure which RR but it was a doublestack train. The primary reports were that two garbage trucks hit the train somehow and one of the drivers was killed. <br /> <br />All I have to say to this is: <br />Do we have to have soldiers armed with Stinger Missles gaurd our nations railway crossings? How many times has this happened in the last year. In the Last decade? In the last century? Any opinios on what we can do to make rail way crossing safer?
