Does anyone happen to have any old 50's-60's-70's pictures of CV trains, and the old depot, that were taken in Richmond, Vermont? I am interested in other CV pictures as well. I intend to have an HO scale CV model railroad, and intend to model portions of Richmond, St. Albans, White River Junction, and Brattleboro. I will be running HO diesels, the green/yellow GP9's and RS11's with the large CV wet noodle logo, and long trains with a red wide vision CV caboose at the end. I will be modeling in the mid 1980's time frame. I have many CV pictures already, but I would like more older black and white pics from the 50's, if I can get some, in addition to later color pics. I would also like to be contacted by any other Central Vermont Railway enthusiasts, including those who model, or want to model, the CV, to exchange photos, stories, etc. I used to live in Richmond, from 1982-1991, and have many memories of the CV as it was then. I have lots of railroad pictures from around Vermont, even of other railroads like VTR, and Green Mountain. I am hoping to find other people with similar interests. Feel free to email me anytime. Thanks.
Joe Childs
notenoughclassicbuicks@gmail.com
