Hey Ya'll,

I am a fan of real railroading and toy trains. So I buy Trains Magazine, Classic Trains Magazine, and Classic Toy Trains magazine.

I am a 13 (14 on March 13 [:D]) and I love railfanning on my favourite local shortline railroad, The Carolina Southern Railroad, as well as Tourist Railroads in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia. As I live in the south,Thats where my railfanning usually is. I have ridden trains and railfanned at the following:

1. The Tennessee Valley Railroad (1 Time Last Summer)
2. The Great Smokey Mountain Railroad (About 10 times, but haven't been since I was in the 3rd Grade)
3. Dollywood Theme Park (Authentic Country Styled place. Very Few thrill rides. 2 roller coasters, log flume, and the county fair area, and a narrow gauge steam line operated by 2 ex-White Pass and Yukon Railroad 2-8-2s. I go there alot, but not this year. Had a cab ride last time though)

I had the pleasure of photographing a busy harbour and Union Station in Philidelphia when my church group went there this october. I loved it. I didn't want to leave. The busy down town and the tracks on the hills, crossing stone viaducts, climbing the mountainous (seemed like it. We climded alot of hills and ran along what looked like mountains).

We didn't go to Dollywood this year because we are going to the Grand Canyon this summer with my whole family. We have all booked seats in the dome car for a morning run from Willimas to the Grand Canyon on the Grand Canyon Railroad.

But, anyway. I loved the feature on the Polar Express in your last issue (forgot to buy it, but read it at bookstore), but the That 70's issue took the cake.

Bert and Mary Poppins aka Nick
