We'll now see how Mr. Swanson handles Mr. Kalmbach's and D.P.M.'s lil' ole train magazine.
I'm sure he'll do just fine!
Flintlock76 Well Carl did a pretty good job over at "Classic Toy Trains." He should be a good fit as "Trains" editor! Congratulations Carl!

Good deal! Reading the link, it looks like his background would be a perfect fit for this job. I wonder if most people working for railroad magazines are also into photography? I hope he enjoys his new job. From his bio, it looks like he's done a lot of things in the publishing world. Can someone explain the workings of the writing world a bit? What does a magazine's editor do? What is an associate editor? Senior editor? Publisher? Journalist? Writer?

WAUKESHA, Wis — Kalmbach Media Co. has named veteran railroad editor and journalist Carl A. Swanson as the new editor of TRAINS, the nation’s largest-circulation magazine about the railroad industry.
Swanson succeeds the late Jim Wrinn, who died March 30, 2022, and served as editor for more than 17 years. Kalmbach has published TRAINS monthly since its founding in November 1940.
