Photo shows what would appear to be a failure to stop at a stop and stay home signal as interlocking signals don't allow conflicting occupancy of a railroad crossing. I know, it is a staged photo-op. But with a background in interlockngs, it made me pause to look at it. What could go wrong?
I ride through that crossing twice daily and I've noticed that whoever doesn't have the signal is laying pretty far back even from the signal.
As far as the photo op is concerned, I'm sure there were some assistant train masters and/or assistant road foremen supervising the setup.

Getting back to the project does anyone know which part will finish first to slightly improve a route(s) ? And when ? Something will be first.
This is part of the 75th Street Corridor improvement project. I believe that the first step is a grade separation at Forest Hill, which is the interlocking in the picture.
