So we should expect the #1 salute that got the woman fired when saluting the President?

I think I've gotten that salute a time or two.  Mostly at road crossings.

Yeppers!  Anyone operating a very large vehicle in traffic can expect to not only be given the #1 salute, but ALSO BE TREATED TO ANY NUMBER OF HAND AND ARM SIGNALS.... some of which the meaning is readily apparent, others, not not so apparent..leaving the 'saluted' to guess, by the facial expression, the meaning and feelings of the 'salutor'.

Years of driving OTR into Large Cities, certainly added to my personal catalog of jestures.   LaughLaughWhistling    A #1 Truck driver.Smile, Wink & Grin
