I resemble that remark... Except, it's hell on the lawn and vegetable garden at home.Embarrassed

People here are just now realizing they didn't really think that one through very well. In their hurry to get stupid, they became a threat to themselves and their neighbors.

Perhaps that was the only part of his hands that wasn't permanently grimy from coal dust, grease, soot etc. Just a guess....

     A book I'm reading talks about someone's father being a steam locomotive engineer.  After work, ol' Dad always took a shower and changed clothes before heading home to his white pickets fence.  The author wrote that the only clue of his occupation was his white fingernails.  White finger nails?  Did steam engineers have white fingernails?
