How far south does that line go or could go?  To Metra?

I think it was railbanked from Madison to Oregon, then they bought it.    As far as the remainder of the line down to Evansville?     Not sure how much has the rails in place still.    UP wanted to abandon all of it and from the youtube clip it reads like they only preserved the rail to Oregon.     If your thinking of passenger service I think the Milwaukee route that WSOR preserved is more viable because it passes through a more densely populated area.
