The courts have rejected the 'Committee of 100's request for a injuction to stop the upgrading of CSX's Virginia Avenue Tunnel in the District of Columbia.

Balt:  Its too bad there is no one arond to give a photo journal's progress report on the work.  Maybe CSX should start a site showing each week's progress ?  KP east where are you ?

Increased accidents and terrorist attacks? Very odd arguments, as I understand the new tunnel will make accident response easier.

I see a forty year old lawyer that lives near the 111 year old tunnel that isn't happy it's going to remain there for another 111 years...Crying
