Michigan Tech and the University of Wisconsin-Superior again are offering the Rail and Intermodal Transportation Summer Youth Program as a way of introducing high school students to the rail industry!  The program runs from July 26-Aug1, and features FULL SCHOLARSHIPS! The weeks activities include 2 1/2 full days of industry tours.  Students visit rail yards, shops, and investigate the links between rail and other modes at trucking and marine facilities.

Go to http://www.rail.mtu.edu/summer_youth.html for more details, and a link to the application.  The program is funded by industry contributions, and from a NURail Center grant.
