Gothardbahn - trains in the snow

Hello all ;

Here's a video depicting passenger & freight action in Switzerland's fabled Gothard line. A lot of trains can be seen - of several operators, incluing 'owner' SBB, as well as BLS and DB (it's an open access line) -, and also varied types of passenger trains, incluidng3 diferent types and generations of Pendolini (tilting trains), in some spectacular banking in curves, and some veteran RE 4/4s, and the famous 'RE 10/10' (an RE 6/6 and a RE 4/4) MUed at the point of freight trains. In case the freights look like shorter than  usual, it's because the local rules, in case of snow, can be in the origin of some load restrictions (80% of normal tonnage rate in some cases). The 'whole stuff' is shown at a nice pace (top speeds are no more than 50 Mph), and eveything was filmed around the famous Wassen site. Enjoy
