Contact Customer Service by phone -- this page has the contact information.

Explain that you need to have your trains.com account updated to reflect your subscription status.  I suspect they may be able to get this done while you are still on the phone.  If they need to refer the issue to the IT department, get a name and contact phone number for the specific person(s) responsible, and follow up with them directly.  You might want to have a receipt with your subscription information handy just in case the IT folks don't have it easily available.

I doubt it will take long to get set up... perhaps only a few keystrokes or mouse clicks from people with the right kind of software access.

Or, you can even send a note to customerservice@kalmbach.com. Doing such can work wonders.

Patience and perseverance, Grasshopper.

Give them some time to process your subscription.

But keep trying--it would be interesting to know how quickly it can be done.

Sage advice from a very smart man! Bow

The TRAINS Customer Service folks are very competent, and accomodating, if callin in live to them..

Just a note of personal experience. Their on-line subscription system via a CC payment works wonders, particularly, "when sliding late into home plate".  Embarrassed

I've been an avid reader of Trains for years (newsstand) but have just now subscribed to it. I'd like to read some of the older articles I missed but get the following message when I try...

"The full text of this article is available to Trains Magazine subscribers only"

I am a subscriber but can't read them, am I doing something wrong? I couldn't find anything on this using the search feature? Thanks!
