But part of the Midland Continental still operates near Jamestown.  A two-mile stretch of track is in place to the North Dakota State Hospital to deliver coal to their heating plant.  And for any Midland Continental fans, I recommend the Midland Continental Depot Transportation Museum featuring Peggy Lee in nearby Wimbolden.  It is a very professionally done exhibit, and incorporates a unique shortline railroad with the history of one of America's true music icons, Peggy Lee, who once lived in the depot.  Off the beaten path, but worth the trip.  Check it out at:

Current aerial maps show no trackage left in either Clemetsville or Kloze.

All long gone, per my DeLorme atlas for North Dakota. As far as I know, there's not a mile left of the old MC.

Can anybody tell me if defunct Midland Continental Railroad's Jamestown-Kloze, N.D. branch (BN) and Wimbledon-Clementsville, N.D. (SOO) are still in operation, or have they long since been abandoned too?
