I hate it when the days get shorter. There's not enough light at the end of the day to make that last shot of that last Train that you want realy badly,Even though your mind says keep Railfanning and though the sun just keeps creaping over that tree line making it even harder while waiting for that last Train to come your way. And to make matters worse those stupid shadows that just keep creeping closer and closer to the Train Tracks while still waiting for a train. Then what just kills me is when your mind tells you it's time to stop for the day just as the sun starts rolling over the tree line then you look at you watch and you watch says it's "only" 4pm............And I say to my self...........This just sucks.
Oh the wounders of Railfanning in the late fall.
In a way Railfanning CAN be a challenge!...........Sometimes.
But just as light starts to fade very quickly and it becomes well known that you are running out of light and your light meter reads negative for that last Train,The one that you have been waiting for all day decides to show up(GRRR).
I HATE SHORT DAYS![:(!].
