I saw a covered hopper the other day that had "Pillsbury" on the side of it.

I think CP was using it to haul potash.

Interesting that as I read this the next topic down the line was "More Congestion?"

Sniffles:

Just talked to the shortline in Omaha, hayfever has wrought misery there too! Sd-50's and SD-60's do not look that much different do they? We had 8500, 8501 and 8502 out here in SCL Family Lines primer grey a long time ago as test units on Raton Pass and AAR/TTC...They had the first radial trucks under a 710 engine. Didn't take long to become anonymous did they?

It was a slow weekend. Even though talking is difficult, at least you can still type. Mend well.

Which will be my new name this week! Allergies running rampant!

Short and Sweet - saw this past weekend -

9488 - Dash 9 - NS helping pull an all alcohol tank train somewhere.

UP 3505 - SD40 - on point for freight

CSX - 8529 - my books sez SD50!
UP 3505 - SD40

And the 5:00 AM Amtrak on Sat & Sun about 9:05-9:15 each day. Maybe they don't like to go through Lincoln on a home football weekend until well into daylight?

Now, have to go gurgle....throat dry....

Sniffles.....
