csx track workers
Posted by JohnWPowell on Friday, September 26, 2008 8:35 PM

Got a test session and interveiw for track worker for csx. Can anyone out there tell me pros and cons of doing this type of work, and I was wondering do they work year round? If so what do you do in the winter? Do you have a home range or travel all over? Any input is helpful.

Thanks John

It depends if you are on a gang or hired in on a local mow district. The gangs usually do major mow in warmer states during the winter.if you are hired in as a local mow worker be ready to have your boots on and deal with frozen switches and broken rail joints.etc etc

stay safe
