You're definitely on the right track, Mikeygaw! The logo on the cars is also for the Boise Cascade Corporation. You're likely to see it on the light green box cars operated by the two railroads that they own: Minnesota, Dakota & Western (MDW) or the International Bridge and Terminal Company (IBT). Of these two companies, IBT seems to have all of the newer equipment.

Very recently, some of the MDW cars were transferred to the Texas, Oklahoma & Eastern (TOE). The logo was still there on the car I saw, but TO&E is owned by a compting lumber company (Weyerhaeuser), so I doubt that the logo will last too long!

Maybe old Maine Central ones? That kind of rings a bell with the pine tree, but I don't have a picture or anything. If it's not that, I don't know.

ok, recently i've noticed a lot of boxcars that were painted green and have a pine tree in a circle on the car. Does anyone know what company these cars belong too?

Also, i saw a truck with the same design on it, but the colors were switched ( pine tree and circle were green, truck was white.) The name on the truck was Boise Cascade Office Products. Would they be parts of the same corporation, or just happen to have similar designs?
