Mmmm, what a warm and homey place this diner is. This place reminds me of a great little diner in Carson City, Nevada called the 'Cracker Box'. If your ever in the area, look up this little diner on Hwy. 50 E and Stewart St.

The weather here was beautiful today. Sunny, in the 50's with blue sky and big lenticular clouds floating around heralding the soon arrival of cold air with rain or snow. This was the first Christmas that our little family has spent all by ourselves with no relatives. The three kids had a good time opening presents and seeing what Santa Claus left in their stockings. On the menu was Turkey, homemade mashed potatoes (Yukon Gold potatoes), gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce mixed with apple sauce, homemade ice cream and a big Apple pie.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Bill
