Get Wells Needed....Flying Thoroughbred
Posted by bnsfkline on Friday, December 5, 2003 9:53 PM
My Girlfriend and Fellow Railfan (Sorta) recently had surgery to remove s Tumor in the shoulder. However, today she went for a check up and saw that the tumor had started to regrow. It would be a pleasure to the both of if you guys would send her get well E-cards. She is only 17. It has been making me put trains on the Sidetrack for a prolonged length of time.

Otherswise...I literally flew along with a NS merchindise in St. Charles. for 5 miles.... I was moving along with NS extra 8974 West at 55 Miles per hour. I even passed up my work place to keep up the chase. Wish I had the video camera. I counted the cars once I got to the end of the road. 153 cars with 70 empty intermobile well cars at the end. I tell ya all...I had an adrenialan rush going through my blood. Once I see a train...THE CHASE IS ON.....errr....at least when my Girlfriend is not around....

Flying Thoroughbred....That is not her user name! Thats how I am describing the train I was chasing! -=rolls eyes=- Anyway...an Update....She came back from the hospital and it turns out that its a rare form of cancer that will keep regenerating. She needs Chemo. Looks like you ppl will need to start sending me back issues of trains to keep me busy....I already read 3/4's of my collection. @_@

Jim, my mom was unlucky enough to get cancer when she was only 36. She went through a year and a half of chemotherapy. I know whats its like, I've seen most of it. And not I'm going to sugar-coat it: its not going to be easy at all. Hold on guys. Again, my thoughts are with you.
