I can hear trains from my bedroom at night and I find the sounds of the trains going by quite relaxing and if anything they help me fall asleep faster. I actually saw one of those relaxation tapes somewhere that was of steam locomotive sounds. My advice to these people, if you don't like hearing the trains, buy a house somewhere else!
