I have heard that they will be sold off to mainly the UPS people, but that is just a rumor that I have heard from my source inside UPS.

At least one of the material handling cars (1400-1500 series) has been turned into a buffer car restricted to service between 14th St and Brighton Park in Chicago (at least that's how it's stenciled).

A group of the express cars have been sold to various people. Unfortunately, problems with the trucks make it likely that may of them will be scrapped for parts or used in applications like power car service on tourist trains. Shame to see brand new equipment cut up.
