<P>Refineries have a constant rolling thunder. I dont know if you ever drove past the ones on the gulf coast at night but they are absolutely the noisiest places.</P> <P>One of the reasons they seems to be grouped together around the nation in faraway places like the Gulf probably because the USSR would have difficulty reaching them "Over the pole" should the Cold War turn hot and deadly.</P>
