H.R. 876 goes over the top-Help needed on S.1703

Well, it looks like all the intense lobbying paid off. As of 11/21, a total of 224 Members of the House of Representatives have signed on as co-sponsors of H.R. 876 the Local Railroad Rehabilitation and Infastructure Act. This is the Bill that will help short lines get transferrable tax credits of $10,000 per mile per year for infrastructure spending. Aminimum of 219 co-sponsors were needed to assure passage in the House.

Now the battle moves to the Senate where at least 51 Senators are needed for passage. Only six Senators have committed to date as co-sponsors. Please let your Senators know this Bill is important to you.

Joe-

Writing my Senators too...

H.R. 876 now up to 225 co-sponsors. One of the largest lists of co-sponsors of any Bill in this Congress...
