More of the Former Rock Island equipment was sold to CNW and GTW. Grand Trunk Western also got Rock Island Gondolas. Chicago & North Western did buy some 50' Plug-Door Box Cars. Did the Rock Island Auto Racks go to Trailer Train where they were rebuilt and painted for numerous railroads? Andrew F.
