I normaly don't post in this group but,,,, Adaware is spyware. Spyware is any program or code that tracks where or what your system does. Firewall and virus security are a totaly different type of subject. If you want a laymans education on the subjects visit Gibson Research Center (www.grc.com) and select "shields up". If you are worried about security, and you should be, install Zonealarm on a free trial from www.zonelabs.com If you decide to buy it get the pro version PC Mag recommended product.
