Here's a list of what happened to all of the DDA40Xs: <br /> <br />Preserved: <br />6900 on display at Kenefick Park, Omaha,Nebraska <br />6901 on display at Ross Park, Pocatello, Idaho <br />6911 at Mexico Institute of Technology, Mexico City <br />6913 on display at the Texas Fairgrounds, Dallas,TX <br />6915 on display at the California State Fairgrounds, Ponoma,CA <br />6916 on display at Ogden Station, Ogden, Utah <br />6922 on display at Cody Park, Omaha, Nebraska <br />6925 sold to Dakota Southern, stored in Chamberlain, South Dakota, parts missing. <br />6930 on display at the Illinois Railway Museum, Union, IL. <br />6936 in service for UP. <br />6938 on display at Jenks Shops, North Little Rock, Arkansas <br />6944 on display at the National Museum of Transport in St. Louis <br />6946 on display in Portola, CA <br /> <br />The rest of the DDA40Xs were scrapped.
