Yeah, you guys must be right. If i were some kind of person wholived near a yard, I would come to a trains forum to ask for the proper directions on how to shut a locomotive so I could turn it down myself. Say... that's exactly what I would do! I'd dress all in black, sneak into a yard, holding a white peice of paper (8.5 X 11 to be exact) of printed instructions, Id sneak intoa cab, turn on the lights, and look for all these switches and turn them off in sequential order, hopefully in the 10 minutes doing so, no patrol would be alerted by the fact there is a person dressed in black inside a well lit cab reading a peice of paper for 10 minutes trying to locate these buttons. That's like taking directions on 'how to rob a bank' inside a bank then doing it... Hey everyone! Give me all your money... wait let me consult my papaer to make sure i've said these words in correct sequential order... give.. me...all.. of...your.. money... uh-oh this sheet doesn't say please.. mrs. Teller.. should I say please.. did the person type this up have no manners or somehting, because i feel that please should be on there.. this one is going to break your heart, no one is going to use your instructions to REALLY 'turn off' a locomotive, I'm really sorry to tell you this. If someone really wants to shut down a locomotive, they would be wanting to do it in less then 43 secondes. That is the national average for the time it takes to commit faceless, victimless crimes. That would consist of dropping a match in the fuel tank, or blowing the thing up. honestly, who the heck would sit there in the cab, when there not supposed to be there reading directions on how to shut a locomotive off. They may as well bring a big Neon sign: I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE CAB, BUT I'M TRYING TO SHUT THE LOCOMOTIVE DOWN! IF YOU COULD HELP, THAT'S BE GREAT! Yeah,i guess that is a little to much neon. seriously, let's think about this for a few more minutes.
