There is not much of a price difference these days, but then again there are very few unmodified GP9s left. Almost all still running have at least been rewired and had their original controls and braking systems updated and been low nosed. <br /> <br />Given the age and condition of the GP9s most folks wisely have decided not to reconfigure GP9s with traction control. There have been some remanufacturing efforts such as the IC GP11s that added Dash 2 electronics to GP9s...
