Kevin:
Warbonnet is what every kid got in his Lionel set for Christmas . Santa Fe's Red, Yellow, Black Lettering on a silver background.

To those of us down south of you, a red streak is a company service only modified to take de-trucked carbodies back to the shops for repairs or scrapping....

Would help if the connection between brain and fingers was in better working condition.

Red Streak (.n) - an 89 foot flatcar, red in color, converted to move damaged railcars back to home shops from derailment or accident site. Comes complete with two movable center pin connections mounted on the center of the car floor. Practice started by MoPac, later adopted by ATSF, Frisco, UP and others....[B)]

Very common to see red streak cars with damaged carbody on one end and two sets of trucks belonging to damaged car on the other end....

Mookie:

If Havelock is still doing heavy car repairs these days, there may be some there waiting to get in. IN THE MEAN TIME, we'll look for one to photograph. Couldn't find one in the PS&R Yard at Pueblo this morning where Progress Rail is cutting cars up.
(Observation: UP is cutting up auto racks and BNSF is cutting up Ballast cars and covered hoppers there....with the exception of red streaks and scap gondolas, that place is a roach hotel for rail cars, almost nothing comes back out....)
