Oh yes, Southern is a language all its own. Here are two examples: 1) We (or some of us) don't take someone home, we carry them home; and 2) when we are ready to do something it is fixin--I'm fixin to go. Just thought of another one. It is a combo of country and Southern--icebox--just put your drink in the icebox. My ex-roommate a Yankee tried really hard to break me of that one. Ha-Ha, he just couldn't win. You can take the boy out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy. [:D] <br /> <br />
