ENOUGH !! Forums are for the free expression of opinion regardless of how off he wall(or rail in some cases) that an opinion is. POLLS more often than not tend to threaten that special mutual freedom that is permitted in such an envrionment as this one. Polls also tend to POLARIZE opinion and more often than not in the best interest of the civility in the forum. (By the way, notice the similarity in the words Poll and Polarize)
