Wood ties vs. Concrete ties.

The Class I's will often sell their old ties to Class II's and tourist railroads. I know the White Water Valley Railroad <br />http://www.whitewatervalleyrr.org/ <br />buys used ties from CSX. Its much cheaper that new ties and since they can't run at high speed or have great tonnage they seem to work just fine.
