I few weeks ago I observed a rather unusual site. When passing through Harrison NJ on NJTransit, I spotted a low boy tractor trailer behind a warehouse. On it was a two axel box car! It was bright blue with a silver or gray roof and had the post reunification German Deutche Bahn railroad logo. It appeared to be complete with wheels, and all rigging. Does anyone have any idea where it was going and what it is doing on this side of the ocean? I remember similar cars from a visit to Germany in the mid 1970's, but I do not remember any DB cars in blue at the time.

Gerry
