There are some young railfans who are quite active preservationists. I found a webpage on the internet about a group of teenagers from New Zealand who are working on restoring a Barclay 0-4-0T themselves without any help from adults. They call themselves The Barclay Boys. The website is www.geocities.com/barclayboys .
