Yeah, have to agree about the merger. UP would lose a lot if they merged with the CSX. Don't look for a merger until BNSF does something...then you MAY see a merger take place. Besides, the gov't has to give its ok as well. I am in serious doubts. If you all may recall, the merger with SP devastated the UP. They had trains sitting all over their system without crews to operate them and you know the story goes. They barely could handle the SP, and are finally getting past the bad images of that merger. So I am saying that things will remain as they are until the BNSF does something first.
