The movie is about two cons who escape from a prison camp in the dead of winter in I think Alaska who are chased by a crooked Warden. They jump a freight train (4 diesel units only)who's engineer dies of a heart attack and the train turns into a runaway. The train crashes into the rear of a slow moving freight that was pulling into a siding trying to get off the main line. It damages the lead engine and the cons try to figure out a way to stop the train in which they eventually get the lead engine to break away from the other units that eventually stop. The warden takes a helicopter ride and drops into a hole in the lead engine before it breaks away and one of the cons locks him to the inside of the train. He gets on top of the lead unit like a statue and the movie ends with him and the warden inside riding off into a snow storm. If you like a lot of snow, it was in the movie. Some folks didn't like it but it was not that bad. There was also a old F-unit in the 4 engine lash-up.
