Has anyone noticed that for "freight car recording" purposes, CSX has marked a large number of its frieght cars with small, NYC and Pennsylvania lettering? Supposedly due to the Conrail merger. Hmmm. Seems like they're also clinging on to their past at the same time! <br /> <br />It's done for accounting/tax purposes....the PRR marks are actually owned by NS.
