[/quote] Well, I know very little in terms of locomotive drive,, but it always seemed to me that hydro was the best way to go, ....couldn't figure out why no one had ever tried it..Then I found out that SP and D&RGW had, and were not impressed with it enough to pursue the concept...somewhat humbling.
