Illinois Central Chicago Suburban Electric Railway

I am looking for as much information about this railway as I can, especially photographs. I have a computer simulation for the 51st street tower as it was in 1952 and the pattern of movements seems ideal for a model.
Are models of the rolling stock available either r-t-r or kits?
All I know is that it was electrified with twin overhead contact wires.
Can anyone out there help an English railway enthusiast please?

It's probably your best source for information and photos people can supply from their collections.

The single level cars used in that era were produced in HO brass by Nickel Plate Products in the mid 1970's. They were a powered coach and trailer set. The cars ran very poorly. Once is a while they make an appearance on ebay. No other kits or R-T-R equipment has been produced.

Thank you for the reply. I will try your suggestion.
The simulation is commercial. It is produced by SIAM Limited here in England. They do signal box sims, traffic control and whole line sims.
