a 54-year old cond. in pocatello, id, died when a hopper he was hanging from struck a derail and overturned.. the car was believed to be traveling too fast and exceeded its stopping point.. the derail was struck and the cond. was under the car when it flipped.. it was unknown if the cond. had seen the derail and intended to jump safely from the car..
