Strange car-train accident

That sounds so awful. <br /> <br />During the Galveston segment of my EMS career, I responded to a car that was coming over a bridge, lost control, got airborne, turned upside down and wedged itself underneath a parked train car next to the road. No one was seriously hurt. But we were all amazed at the uniqueness of it all and that they weren't dead. <br /> <br />Years later, while working dispatch/EMS in Fort Worth, we sent an ambulance to a car that went off the highway bridge on I-35 on the northside of town, south of I-635, and landed on the tracks below, right in front of a moving locomotive. She didn't survive. <br /> <br />My prayers for the victim near Columbia. <br /> <br />
