QUOTE: Originally posted by vsmith

Got the video Kevin, thanks. I was really surprised seeing just how much time before when the train is first becomes visable to when she gets hit. Her companion had enough time to see the train and stop, but she never once looked the other way. Its a sad video to see.

I was going to post a link to deadtrainbums.com with a repeated warning to keep off the tracks, but I'll just leave the above reference and a STERN warning beforehand that there are photos and language on this site that WILL offend and gross out alot of people, BE WARNED. But it also shows as graphicly as possible why trains should be given respect and a wide berth, or you could end up like the photo of one poor fellow who fell off and got split right down the center like the Coyote in a super gross Road Runner cartoon. Grossss!!!!
Vic [:)]

I was at work when you posted and didn't get off till midnight. When I received your email and read the forums Kev had already sent you the video. This is why I posted that either of us would be glad to pass it along.

The little girl was walking with her daddy (my thoughts). Her view was blocked by him. I know it all happened very fast but I can't understand why he didn't yell, or extend his arm and protect her. She probally didn't even see it coming. It is just so sad. [:(] [V]

How many times do we have to remind people to STOP . . . LOOK . . . LISTEN . . . before they attempt to cross the tracks.

PLEASE EVERYONE BE SAFE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.
