Hi-Level Coach Photos??
Posted by SchemerBob on Sunday, September 11, 2005 9:53 AM
Where can I find photos of the actual Santa Fe Hi-Level

Transition Coach
Coach
Sky Lounge and
Dining Cars??

I doesn't matter if they're in Santa Fe or Amtrak paint. It would be really nice to see a photo of the Dining Car...every time I search all I get is a bunch of model railroad tables. Can someone help?
Long live the BNSF .... AND its paint scheme. SchemerBob

This should be a good start. I will post anything I can find. I have had problems coming up with diner pics, though. On the Overland flyers, click on the pics, and I thought that I would throw in the Passenger Car Photo index for the heck of it.

Try Volume 5 Passenger Car lLbrary they even have the plans for the Hi-Levels and Pictures of each type car. I believe this book is still available through several dealers. The seven book series covers the lightweight Budd, AC&F and SLC passenger cars prior to Amtrak. They are an excellent source of information.
