I had a very good friend, 50 years with the Southern Pacific, that retired during 1986 from the railroad. He was one of two Espee engineers on that divission that provided Amtrak's 5 and 6 with direction, 14 years after its creation. They were Southern Pacific employees! <br /> <br />There were not any operating emplyees at Amtrak at it creation, they were all supplied from the privious operater of passenger service! <br /> <br />Jim - Lawton, NV MP 236
