Seen many a deer (dead) in Pennsylvania along the old PRR mainline east of Pittsburgh. As they say trains ALWAYS win. <br /> <br />This thread reminds me of the western photo or painting of 150 years ago where the train was stopped for a herd of bison crossing the track. With the light 4-4-0 locomotives of the day and the heavy bison this could be an exception to the rule that trains always win.
